Please do not read any further if all you're going to do is tell me to use another browser.

Please help me figure out how to fix this.

Ever since the last updates for Windows 8 (which I have no problems with otherwise, so please let's not get sidetracked into oh, god, Windows 8, yuck) the other day, every single website I go to IE 10 does this little pop-up thing at the bottom telling me the website has security errors. Even my own damned website.

How do I get it to quit doing this? The Microsoft forums are way less than useful.

Thanks in advance because someone will help me, right?

What does the message you're seeing actually say? A quick Google suggests probable causes, but I don't know if they're applicable to you without knowing what the warning you're saying actually says.

Date/time was not what I was thinking of, actually. What I was thinking of was references I saw on a lot of pages to IE 10 bitching about having to load both secure and non-secure content. But I ALSO saw references to certificate errors, which is why I wanted to specifically ask you what the error message said, because I didn't want to suggest a solution for problem A when you were actually experiencing problem B.

But yeah. I'd have to google for this in depth to actually find a solution. I haven't had to use IE 10 in depth yet so I haven't run into this problem. (My work PC has IE 9 on it, and although my new work laptop has IE 10, I haven't had to actually use it much yet.)

I'm curious now though; I'll have to boot that laptop into Win 7 and see if I can repro the problem.

Duly noted! I've only got access to Windows 7--I don't have 8 yet running on any of my machines, either at work or at home. But I do have both IE 10 and IE 11 available to me.

I'll let you know if I see the problem and if I do, what I'm able to do to fix it.
