Tasha Tudor died. Her illustrations greatly enhanced my childhood, encouraged my love of gardening, and helped give me an appreciation for nature and a love of detail that has been with me ever since.

She had a long life (she was 92), but that just doesn't seem to matter much right now.

Sigh.
