1. Ever since I got my digital camera a couple of years ago, I've been taking pictures of my garden every couple of weeks during the season so that I can see how it's progressing, and so that when I want to complain that things are blooming late, I can check and see if they really are. So far everything's blooming a couple of weeks late this year (we've had a very cold, wet spring).

2. The quilt I'm currently in the process of hand-quilting has over 1500 different fabrics in it. Not just different pieces, but different fabrics.

3. The quilt I'm currently piecing has a pun for a name -- it's called the Yule Log Cabin, because it's a log cabin pattern done in reds and greens.

4. I've been volunteering once a week at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge for a couple of months now. Just working in their office.

5. I got kicked out of Project Linus for insisting on finishing the quilt bindings by hand (I can't do a decent machine-corner on a binding, sorry).

6. I'm currently in the process of cutting Charley's story down by a quarter, to get it to a length that most agents and small presses are even willing to consider. Which is not, amazingly enough, as hard as I thought it would be.
