Why doesn't anyone seem to understand that what's important is that everyone qualified to vote gets to vote?

Not that Michigan and Florida's peteybees have their heads up their collective @sses.

Not that Washington state's peteybees threw a hissy fit because the primary wasn't held precisely as they desired, so with one fell swoop the only way you could get your vote counted was to be physically able to show up at a particular hour on a particular day. Caucuses automatically disenfranchise anyone who cannot do this, you know. I still haven't figured out how this is different from any other way to prevent certain groups of people from voting.

Not that superdelegates have the power to decide who becomes the next presidential candidate. For any party.

What is important is that everyone who is qualified to vote in the USA has the opportunity to vote. Period. Get over yourselves, peteybees. You're making me ashamed to be an American.

One primary, nationwide. How about September? Dump the whole delegate thing. Popular vote wins. One general election. Let's stick with November, it seems to work. Again, no delegates, popular vote wins.

I know the founding fathers thought they were doing the right thing, but I bet if they even had a glimpse at the system they foisted on us, they'd be saying, my god, it's not sacred. You can change it, you know.

Yet here we sit...
