The rules, to be posted on your blog if you are tagged (if, like, you want to and such):

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.

2. Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).

I'm a sucker for stuff like this, don't know why...

1) When I was small, my sister once left me at a campground water spigot with a bear. I choose to think it was because the bear scared her.

2) My parents and I drove the Alaska Highway. In 1973. Back when it was 1200 miles of gravel road.

3) I've been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon via muleback. It was 123 degrees F down there at the time, or so I'm told. Darned hot, anyway. My mother passed out.

4) Libraries are like gardens. You can't sufficiently quantify the enjoyment or use of them with statistics, no matter how hard the bureaucrats try. Okay, this one isn't about me now. It's about who I used to be, though.

5) I've been quilting for almost 20 years. Highly likely that I'll go at least another 20.

6) I once drove over 14,000 miles in a little over 2 1/2 months. Then I rolled my car.

7) I went to Blenheim Palace on my first trip to the UK, not because of Churchill or Marlborough, but because that's where they filmed the exteriors of Branagh's film of Hamlet.

Don't know why my facts were mostly travel-related this time, but there you are. My feet must be itching.

As for tagging, I'm of [livejournal.com profile] filkferengi's point of view. If you feel like being tagged, go for it [g].
