My 92-year-old mother died last night. It's been a *long*, slow process, so not a surprise, but still. I'm headed to Texas for the funeral tomorrow.

So if I'm either MIA or obsessively online trying to distract myself, that's why.

Please accept my condolences. My mother died a year and a half ago, you may recall, and I miss her. You mourn, you go on, you still wish you could talk with her again sometimes.
