It's 14 degrees out at just after nine in the morning.

Our average low here this time of year is 34 degrees.

But it won't get to sixty for an average high until April [sigh].

Enough, already, okay? Football season is over, I'm ready for spring, dammit.

What is it with the weather this year? We've got a storm coming in tonight and another huge one tomorrow evening and it's just getting ridiculous. The main train line has washed away and apparently the groundwater levels are getting so high we could start to see groundwater flooding as well as the normal kind and apparently there's no end in sight to the gales and downpours every two or three days. I'm completely with you on being fed up with the weird extreme weather.

I could only wish for that kind of rain, but that would be more like normal here. We're also currently running at about 40% of normal for our snowpack in the mountains (which is the main basis for our summer water supply).

I sure hope this isn't the new normal.
