One of my favorite authors, Barbara Mertz aka Barbara Michaels and Elizabeth Peters, has died.

Oh, I hadn't seen that. I drifted away from her series' in the last 10 years, but I have about 20 of her earlier books between the Michaels/Peters pen names. Very sorry to lose her - she wrote some wonderful characters.
