I love my new computer and a snicker

First, I'm not so sure what everyone thought was so horrible about Windows 8. Either that or I'm just so thrilled to have a speedy, uncranky computer that I'm just ignoring all the awfulness. At any rate, I love my new computer and its operating system, so there. This relieves me no end.

BTW, anyone know how to turn off the automatic spell-check on IE10? I do hate automatic spell checks with the passion of a thousand purple suns.

Second, I scored 12 out of 13 on this science quiz (ganked from jaylake), which amuses me no end. Not too bad for a lit and history major...

Congrats on the new computer--I know the old one has been very frustrating. Haven't had the joy of Windows 8 yet as my Windows computing is controlled by my employer--I've just been at 7 for a few months, and others are back on XP. 7 took some adjustments, but I'm mostly over it. Mostly.

My old computer was XP. The main problem besides being cranky was the web browser issue. It's so nice not to have to remember which browser works on which website anymore [g].
