Thank you for the flowers. Also, I now know what primroses look like&mdashI'd always imagined them as something different, and what they actually are was called something else.

Did Ivan or Teddy win in the end (or did they destroy the bag)?

You're welcome. They're a standard winter flower in this part of the world -- those and pansies are about the only plants treated as annuals that bloom outdoors (as well as in the conservatory) in winter here.

And the bag is dead. Really most sincerely dead [g]. Fortunately, it had the foresight to reproduce before it died a heroic death.
