I'm thinking about changing the cover of Repeating History from this:


to this:


It's too bad the shrinkage (the size is close to what would be on the book's Amazon and Smashwords pages) makes the wood grain in the letters invisible, but them's the breaks.

Opinions? Suggestions? Anyone? Bueller?

Thank you! I don't have any formal training in graphic design (unless you count three four-session continuing ed classes in basic InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop [g]), but I do work on graphics as part of my museum business, so I guess I'm learning something along the way.

The addition of the watch certainly incorporates the time travel aspect of the plot, though I'm not sure about the change in font. I liked the proportion of font in the original cover to the overall size of the picture; on the new one, it looks a bit squished.
