Pictures like that give me nightmares. Literally. I wake up checking the body part in question to make sure mine's not like that.

Also, why isn't there a mood tag for "squicked" in DW or LJ?

Oh! Sorry about that! I didn't realize it could be squicky. Of course now I see what I missed.

I guess i wasn't seeing it as a deformity, not just b/c of the connection to the comic, but b/c the animal is healthy and fully functional.

I do admit that I get nightmares easily, and I'm glad the cat's fully functional, but it just gave me the creeps.
