graphics help

Does anyone recognize this typeface? And if you do, can you tell me where on the web I might find it to download? If so, I would be grateful.

No, but I can tell you where you can get help, thanks to my Hanukkah present from my Chinese sister, a book called Just My Type: A book about fonts by Simon Garfield.

1. http://www.identifont.com will help you identify a font by answering questions about key features, or to find fonts that are similar in appearance to a specified font.

2. But more helpful to you, I think, will be http://new.myfonts.com/, where, Garfield writes, the "contributors ... display vast knowledge, an eagerness to help, and inestimable amounts of bile. ... Each day, as many as a hundred unidentified fonts are posted for identification and anyone can suggest a solution. The case is then marked solved or unsolved, or in some cases 'Not A Font' (because it's a logo or hand-drawn)." (p.176)
