early July garden porn

The only snapdragon blooming in my back garden so far, although several more have buds.

Volunteer feverfew in the back garden. I can never bring myself to yank quite all of it.

I keep planting "annual" dianthus, and it keeps coming back year after year. So I've got rather a lot of it these days.

This year's new coreopsis, since the one that I had for about five years gave up the ghost this past winter.

Bachelor's buttons are one of my favorite annuals.

Salpiglossis is so cool. It looks like embroidered petunias.

Candytuft pretty much self-seeds in my front garden.

The fairy rose is finally going to town.
And my back patio tubs just look incredible this year:

The new guy down the way introduced himself to me the other day, and when he asked me where I lived and I pointed, he said, oh, you're the lady with all the flowers. Which pleased me no end. [g]
