The bad: Yesterday I found a four-inch banana slug munching on one of my iris blossoms. No, I did not take his picture. I grabbed him with a paper napkin and flung him over the fence into the condo septic field.
That's how wet a spring we've been having. Banana slugs belong in the rainforest, not my backyard.
