Oh, yes. Lots of books. I do a re-listen of Bujold's Vorkosigan series every winter and one of Peters' Amelia Peabody series (up through Lord of the Silent -- I don't like what she does to Ramses after that, even if some folks think it's in character [g]) every summer. Mostly to visit old friends, as my two alltime favorite fictional characters are Miles Vorkosigan and Ramses Emerson.

Many romances fall into the comfort reread category for me -- a lot of Nora Roberts and Jennifer Greene and Candace Schuler and Julia Quinn -- lighthearted stuff, mostly. I'm not into angst for angst's sake (my affection for Ramses and Nefret notwithstanding).

I reread Mercedes Lackey when I'm ill. And only when I'm ill, for some strange reason.

Early Barbara Michaels (Elizabeth Peters' other pseudonym). Mary Stewart.

That's about it. It's not so much a matter of discovering new things as it is that I like these people and I miss them when I haven't visited with them in a while.
