I've used LJarchive to save my LJ posts onto my hard drive. Is there a way to transfer all my LJ posts to DW? Or should I even bother?

You can use Dreamwidth's import functionality to slurp over all your LJ data, including icons and comments. Be advised that this can be slow if LJ is under DDOS attack, though it's fine when LJ's actually behaving.

On your Profile page, on the "Organize" menu, there should be an "Import Content" item.
