But I do so wish that people who post pictures of squicky things (like deformed animals) would put them behind a cut with a warning.

Pictures like that give me nightmares. Literally. I wake up checking the body part in question to make sure mine's not like that.

Also, why isn't there a mood tag for "squicked" in DW or LJ?
