The last time I went to the doctor, the nurse pointed out a little squib on my (computerized) record to me that she said warned I was a difficult patient. Because I do ask questions and do not always agree blindly with what my doctors tell me. Also because I fussily insist on knowing how much a procedure will cost me out of pocket before I have it done so that I know whether I can afford it or not.

This is why I'm looking to get out of Group Health, but finding new individual health insurance I can afford is not easy, either, and I'm not sure it would help with the problem, anyway.

Before I quit spamming my FL this morning.

Has the latest iteration of LJ-fail eliminated email notification of comments made to one's LJ and replies to comments one has made on others' LJs?

And if so, how do I fix this? Besides leaving LJ for DW? I have a DW account (it's the same -- mmegaera), and if all of my FL migrates over there I suppose I will, too, but not until they all do.

Can someone comment here and let me see if I do get a notification? Thanks!

ETA: No, I wasn't notified when the_celestia commented. I did go check my settings and re-update them. If someone else could comment on this post to see if it did any good, I'd appreciate it.

ETA2: Checking again this evening, and no, I'm still not getting notifications. Since my ability to use LJ the way I do (especially if I get a response to one of my comments on someone else's LJ, I'll never know about it without the notifications) is utterly dependent upon these notifications, I'm stymied. And about ready to throw up my hands. If this can't be fixed, then there's not much point in me staying here. There's not much point in me going anywhere else (including DW) since this is where my FL lives. I need a third alternative that does not leave my FL behind, please. Please don't not answer this!
