insomnia, sigh

I left the damn daylight lamp on all day yesterday again. What can I say, when I get involved in my work I tend to get oblivious. When I leave the damn daylight lamp on all day, though, I get insomnia on the succeeding night, so I think I got about four hours sleep last night. Not good for someone who functions best on eight-nine hours.

So.

Today I bought a timer and hooked the damn daylight lamp up to it. It will turn on at 10 am and turn off at 1 pm, and I will be able to sleep at night from now on (well, except when my hormones are giving me fits), as well as have enough good daylight to keep my mood from plummeting between now and March (well, except for when my hormones are giving me fits).

Sigh.
