health care
Jul. 28th, 2009 12:18 pmAdding my small bit to the drumbeat by cheating and linking to someone much more eloquent on the subject than I am: http://pecunium.livejournal.com/437448.html. Oh, and this one, too: http://therinth.livejournal.com/312113.html
One thing I don't understand (and will probably get explained to me at length now that I've asked it) is why on earth businesspeople and employers in this country aren't all for single-payer health care run by the government. I mean, they keep complaining about how expensive it is to pay insurance premiums for their employees -- General Motors claims it's a large part of why they went bankrupt, for pete's sake. You'd think they'd be all over getting out from under that obligation.
