"Long trip" means my 3-month journey ten years ago when I drove from Seattle to Vermont to Florida to California. "Passing through" means airplane flight change, or train ride without stop, or driving through when moving.

Alaska - Trip with parents at 14, trip alone at 35.
Arizona - Long trip, vacations.
Arkansas - Passing through.
California - 14 years near LA, 3 years near SF.
Colorado - almost two years as teenager, college for a year, six months in late twenties

D.C. - Visit with ex in thirties, Long trip.
