They have an odd idea of privileges.

Father went to college
Father finished college
Mother went to college
Mother finished college
Have any relative who is an attorney, physician, or professor. -- my father was an engineer, does that count? And I have an MLS and used to be a librarian. Oh, wait a minute. I had an aunt who was a schoolteacher. No doctors, lawyers, or college-level teachers that I know of, though.
Were the same or higher class than your high school teachers
Had more than 50 books in your childhood home
Had more than 500 books in your childhood home -- easily
Were read children's books by a parent -- "snort" said the snort -- my mother did a great Are You My Mother? [g]
Had lessons of any kind before you turned 18
Had more than two kinds of lessons before you turned 18
The people in the media who dress and talk like me are portrayed positively
Had a credit card with your name on it before you turned 18
Your parents (or a trust) paid for the majority of your college costs -- parents paid for most of my undergrad, I had a scholarship and a husband for the rest and for grad school after I put him through same
Your parents (or a trust) paid for all of your college costs -- see above
Went to a private high school
Went to summer camp -- nope, long trips with parents every summer instead
Had a private tutor before you turned 18
Family vacations involved staying at hotels -- we camped by choice, actually we RV'd by choice when my parents bought our first trailer when I was 12, but we traveled more than most families do by far
Your clothing was all bought new before you turned 18
Your parents bought you a car that was not a hand-me-down from them -- I got a handmedown, and my sisters, who all had to buy their own cars, never let me forget it to this day
There was original art in your house when you were a child -- Indonesian wood carvings, mostly, from my dad's business trips.
Had a phone in your room before you turned 18
You and your family lived in a single family house
Your parent(s) owned their own house or apartment before you left home
You had your own room as a child -- after my sisters all got married when I turned 12
Participated in an SAT/ACT prep course -- no, but I don't think there was such a thing 30+ years ago when I took them.
Had your own TV in your room in High School
Owned a mutual fund or IRA in High School or College
Flew anywhere on a commercial airline before you turned 16 -- to my grandfather's funeral when I was five
Went on a cruise with your family -- that wasn't what we did, but I'd been to Alaska by the time I was fourteen
Went on more than one cruise with your family
Your parents took you to museums and art galleries as you grew up -- not art museums, but lots of natural history museums and so forth
You were unaware of how much heating bills were for your family
