music query

Does anyone know where I can find more music similar to the Wag the Dog soundtrack? I picked up the CD at Half Price Books a while back because it was Mark Knopfler (I've never seen the movie), and I really like it (it's all instrumental except for the first song), but more Mark Knopfler (or Dire Straits) isn't the same thing, although it's nice, because it has lyrics. I'm looking for more of the kind of guitar/drums/pop non-lyric sound that is on that soundtrack. No lyrics means better to write to.

No long lists of things that might be vaguely like, pretty please. I'll never be able to wade through them. Specificity is a wonderful thing.

And I haven't worked out the whole download MP3 thing yet, either. I keep meaning to, but I just haven't gotten there yet. So if it's available in more old-fashioned ways, that would be a big bonus.
