To all who responded to my pet question. The answers ran the gamut, I must say, but all made a great deal of sense.

At least I know that where I fall on the spectrum isn't selfish. That it's probably more caring than I realized.

Here's hoping the guys stay healthy for a good long time, anyway [wry g].
