Google Reader redux

1) There's a petition, with over 75,000 signatures so far. I doubt it will do any good, but I signed it, and if you want to sign it it's here. Ganked from annathepiper.

2) It appears that most of the so-called alternatives to Google Reader (including Feedly) require you to download software, free or otherwise. Does anyone know of an alternative where you just go to a website and log in to see your feeds the way Google Reader works? That's all I need. Or want.

Spend most of the day looking, with no result. However, I suggest you look at netvibes. They allow you to import your Google Reader data and have a "reader view." It won't work for me because I want to also be able to read my feeds on my tablet and have everything sync up. If not, I would just use NetVibes.

Thanks. I took a look at netvibes, and I suspect I'm too spoiled by GR, but the interface (even the reader view) is just ugly.

Something's gotta give at some point between now and July 1st. I hope.
