mmegaeraMaking progress. Mr. Linnet had his drain out this morning, which made us both happier.
A two-day weekend (I work Saturdays) was nice, too.
But the main character of the current (for the last three years or so) disaster has suddenly decided that I was jerking him around for the last half of the first draft (which I am currently revising), so hair being torn out all around. Funny how he didn't have any problem with what he was doing when I was actually *writing* said chapters, but now that the first half of the book is revised to both our likings, he's complaining bitterly about his motivations for the second half.
I *knew* when I decided against writing this novel six years ago that it was the right decision. But would the idiot leave me alone???
