Linnet the cat apparently got into a fight with another cat a few days ago and forgot to tell me about it . He wound up spending the night at the vet's last night, getting an abscess drained. On his left rear haunch (which makes the whole thing even more embarrassing for the poor guy -- one wonders if he got it as he was running away...). Now he's got a nice yucky looking bald spot and a clown collar. I've dealt with clown collars on my other cat (who has recurring ear problems), but never on this cat. This is also the cat who makes any medicating a battle royal .

Wish us luck. This is wreaking havoc with my writing schedule...
