Okay. Alright already. Enough. Uncle.
It was 14 degrees outside when I got up at eight this morning. National Weather Service said the low was 14, too, but I bet it was colder than that in our little frost pocket last night.
First we get floods, then we get snow, then we get wind, then we get more snow, then we get *more* snow, then we get the deep freeze, including skating rinks for streets since Wednesday night, since the temps haven't gone above freezing since then.
This is the worst winter we've had in the fourteen winters I've been here, and that includes the mess of 95-96, and The Winter We Needed an Ark of 98-99.
It is also the kind of winter I left the Midwest to get *away* from.
