shots and other sorts of trauma

This time it was Miss Elena who pitched the fit, although Miss Elli was preemptively toweled, so she never really had a chance to.

At least it's over... But that's why the mood on this post is "distressed." Heaven help me if I ever wind up with a diabetic cat -- I can't even watch someone else give them shots.

Elli's going to fit right in here. She sat there on the coffee table and watched the game, her little head bobbing and weaving as the ball flew down the field, for about ten minutes. That's a heck of an attention span for someone who's only about three months old (according to the vet, they're three months old, not two).

No, I don't know what was coming down the stairs that had Elena so enthralled. Actually, I don't think anything was [g].

Oh, and the other good news? They're each over 3 pounds now. Definitely a good thing.
