mmegaeraMy garden is finally Doing Stuff, although compared to photos from previous years, not as much so far. I don't know what happened to my poppies -- I sowed seeds two different times and didn't get a single seedling -- or to my linaria, which this time last year was in full bloom and this year hasn't even quite begun to bud yet. But at least most of the perennials and some of the annuals are doing well.
Shasta daisies and candytuft are doing well in the front bed (the fairy rose is full of buds, but nothing's opened yet). There's one lonely dahlia, and my neighbor's roses and red lupine are doing well.
Salpiglossis just getting started in the front tub. I haven't grown salpiglossis in several years. I should grow it more often.
Mostly bachelor's buttons in this photo of the back garden, with columbines, campanulas, and marigolds.
And, of course, the bleeding heart that ate New York, along with hostas, pansies, and petunias, lobelia, and sweet alyssum in the tubs.
