two more flowers

mmegaeraThese are from a 20-or-so-year-old pattern book I found in my stash. This book has been through at least half a dozen moves [g]. It amazes me that it had flower patterns of precisely the right size for my flower quilt, of flowers I haven't been able to find anywhere else.
If I'd designed this, I'd have made it flame-colored, which is my favorite shade of snapdragon, but I wasn't quite up to figuring out how to change the colors.
Not quite the scale of The Bleeding Heart that Ate New York, but still pretty [g].
Now I'm going to take a break from flowers (which were in turn taking a break from a hand-quilting project that's been going on for the better part of a year) to do the Joan Elliott Celtic Wheel of the Year pillow.
