To say that I finished the novel last night. Four years and 726 manuscript pages later [wry g].

Now I have no excuse to not get started marketing the thing when I get back from Texas after Thanksgiving. Any suggestions as to methods for picking agents/publishers/v/i/c/t/i/m/s to query are welcome. The only thing I've tried to market before has been romance novels (and not successfully, at that, sigh), which is a lot more cut and dried than trying to market an historical/time travel/adventure/western/love story kind of thing.

Celebrated by going to the movies (Flushed Away -- the slugs alone were worth the price of admission, and I'm not saying anything more) and out to dinner.

Sigh. I can't believe Charley finally gave me an ending.
