hard drive update

mmegaeraWell, they weren't able to rescue it. Even leaving it in the freezer over the weekend didn't help. I picked the old hard drive up yesterday, and am going to ask my brother-in-law to take one final look at it, but I'm afraid it's lost and gone forever, dreadful sorry, Clementine.
Thank all the gods for the flash drive. I lost about fifteen pages of the book, but that's minor compared to everything else. I have decided that since I'm just a few pages from the end, I'm just going to keep going till I get there, then I will go back and rewrite the missing pages. I finally managed to start doing just that yesterday. Oh, and I found a few bits that I'd printed out to take to Yellowstone with me, so I rekeyed those back in on Wednesday. So I'm moving forward again.
I am gradually putting the pieces of my email client back together -- address book and so on. If you want me to have your email address, please do drop me an email so I can add you back.
And I've found most of my bits of shareware (except that I couldn't get WinSamm to load properly) except for the astrology program I used to use, which is apparently no longer available online. Anyone have a good recommendation for a cheap -- preferably free -- shareware astrology program?
