the radio synchronicity gremlin strikes again
This won't make any sense whatsoever to you unless you're reading my NaNo effort.
When I was driving to Seattle this morning for an appointment, two songs came up on the radio*, one after the other. They were:
The Eagles. Hotel California.
America. Lonely People.
I laughed so hard it was a miracle I didn't wreck the car. I swear to God, I haven't heard Hotel California in at least fifteen years, and I did not plot poor Dan's story based on that song. Really.
*the station I tend to listen to in the car when I'm not tuned to the all news station for the traffic reports is a "classic" (not classical [g]) station -- IOW, they play the stuff that was popular when I was in high school
