lots of new beginnings
May. 31st, 2010 10:27 pmIncluding looking for a job in my new field (I am looking for a museum curatorial department job in commuting distance of Tacoma, Washington, but I'll take pretty much anything that will get me in the door with a paying position in a museum -- my resumé is here), being almost ready to start the second pov section of True Gold, and, last but not least, finally beginning to piece the flame quilt. Thanks to a couple of people in the LJ quilting comm, I have been persuaded to use templates. And starch. Lots and lots of starch (to keep the bias edges from stretching and/or otherwise misbehaving).
Anyway, read more and see how much I've gotten pieced in about six hours worth of work [sigh], at mmjustus.blogspot.com.
