Of course. Well, nowadays, anyway. My first few vehicles did not have names, but you need to know that my very first vehicle was a 1966 Ford Falcon, because that colored (so to speak) the names of the green cars I've owned since then (the Falcon was "navy green" aka a green as dark as navy blue -- Mark Vorkosigan would have approved).
Anyway, the first vehicle I ever named was a Chevy S10. Its name was Trucklet, because it was a little truck.
My next vehicle was a teal green Chevy Cavalier. It was named Owl (I thought about naming it Falcon II, but that was just too pretentious).
The one after that was a beige ("Champagne") Mazda Protege. A friend at the time suggested I name it after her son, because the Protege was a remake of Mazda's 323, and her son's birthday was March 23rd. So the car was named Vince.
My current vehicle is a greyed copper patina green Ford Focus. Its name is Kestrel.
And that's why I had to tell you about the color of the Falcon [g].
