*There*

This is the Meeker Mansion, where I am doing my hat practicum. Isn't she a beautiful old lady? She was built in 1890, and is in the process of being restored. Since in her past she's filled a number of functions, including hospital and nursing home, the restoration has had to be extensive.
I work in the attic, above the triple-windowed section. It's much nicer than it sounds, light and airy with lots of dormer windows. The train tracks are immediately behind where I stood to take this picture, and heavy freight trains make the whole house vibrate. The first time it happened I thought we were having an earthquake [g].
Also, I have enlarged and improved my website, with lots of new references and photos, and would love it if anyone would care to visit it and comment.
