AKICOTL: flying with a computer

Having come very lately to this business of owning a netbook (and never having owned a laptop of any kind before this), and wanting to take my netbook with me to my mother's when I go visit her soon, what should I expect at airport security and so forth with the netbook in my carry-on bag? What will they want me to do, etc.? It's a US domestic flight, if that makes any difference.
