I'm not actually asking for advice here
Linnet's losing weight again. Those who know Linnet will understand why I'm tearing my hair out. We've been through this before. Multiple times over the last ten years. He's sixteen. At this point in his life, the cure for what's causing the weight loss is worse than the disease because the med makes him quit eating altogether and start throwing up.
I just need to figure out how to get enough calories to make up the extra difference into what is an extremely finicky cat on the best of days, and pretty much hopeless when his stomach is bothering him, for long enough for him to get over this bout on his own. Again. This with a cat who turns down tuna when he's in this state, let alone anything else.
I love him, but dammit, Jim, even the pet dietician was flummoxed last time this happened.
