Last night I posted a comment on the National Parks Traveler blog, to a post talking about the oil boom in North Dakota and how it's affected Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which I visited last June.

This morning I received an email from a reporter from the CBS News morning show, asking me about my experiences while I was there.

First time anything like that has ever happened to me.

And, yes, she was legit. So I told her all about it [g].

Teddy has finally learned to leap. Unfortunately his first choice for landing place is the kitchen counter. Which he's done several times.

Time for some serious negative reinforcement, I guess.

On the bright side, he's a fly-eater like his predecessor Morgan.
