So, apparently something LiveJournal changed last week made my ISP think anything they sent to me was spam, after all.
I won't get into the long, convoluted chain of thought that finally got me there. Suffice to say that my contact email for LJ has been changed to one of my two secondary accounts because for some reason my primary account's spam gets deleted immediately, while I have about 24 hours to look at the spam from my two secondary accounts. Once I did that, I could check the spam and lo and behold, there was a notification or two from LJ there.
Anyway, I've whitelisted the livejournal.com domain, so maybe that will fix it once and for all?

I do believe that just for security's sake, I will probably continue to post here first and let it cross-post to LJ, so if you think I should have replied to you there and I didn't, come reply here. Sigh.
Oh, and if someone could comment on this post at LJ one more time, to confirm that the whitelisting worked, I would be profoundly grateful. Hopefully this will be the last you hear from me on the subject.
