some little projects

A lady on my quilting email list (the Washington State Internet Quilters) is collecting quilted placemats for Meals on Wheels, as a nice, cheerful gift to give the seniors and shut-ins in the program.

So I made four:









It was fun choosing fabrics and quilting designs (this is what quilting stencils are for [g]) and putting them together. They went together quickly. I think my favorite is the pineapple one, but I'm pleased with all of them.

This was definitely a matter of right project, right time. This was exactly what I needed right now.
