It is going to be spring.

Here's the proof, from my yard:
species crocus -- I don't remember the specific species, and the Dutch variety is still just sprouts
Cyclamen neapolitanum -- these have actually been blooming for several weeks now, and, in their fourth year in the ground, are really starting to be fruitful and multiply
Reticulata iris -- I don't remember which variety of these, either, although I have three -- these, some dark red-purple ones, and some darker blue ones. These are the only ones blooming so far, though.
And evidence of my faith that spring and summer really will happen [g]:
There's about ten different kinds of seeds in those pots, ranging from mimulus to flax to hollyhocks. I am going to have a beautiful garden this summer if I can keep the cats out of the potting soil...
