Okay, it did get to over 90 yesterday and today. To put this into a bit of perspective, according to the local weather gurus (http://www.komotv.com/stories/44114.htm) this is the first time it's been 90 degrees here since August 200*4*. This is a Big Deal.

So, hush, all you Southerners and Midwesterners and desert rats and Californians.

Complaining about heat isn't something I get to do very often around here. So I'm going to. To the hilt. Even if I am working in an air-conditioned public building at the moment.

Wow. Talk about the ultimate compliment. A one-sentence review from my "average Jane" Beta reader: "Never start a new Meg chapter while dinner is cooking unless you like your food burned."
