onward and sideways
Charley and Frank went to visit the minister today *g*. Emma had very dim views on elopement. Chapter 23 is coming along, IOW.
Started strengthening exercises for the shoulder last week, and almost the first thing I did was pull a muscle in my side. My other side. Sucker hurts when I try to do all the things I still can't do with my other arm. Like drive... *Makes preparations to be read the riot act by the physical therapist tomorrow morning.* I didn't do it on purpose...
I've been making one freezer recipe a week for the last few weeks, and my freezer is gradually filling back up from when I was living off it without being able to refill it as I went -- italian sausage soup (kind of like minestrone but better), taco soup, turkey tetrazzini (from leftover roast turkey in the freezer), and meatballs. I roasted a chicken yesterday and plan to make chicken potpie filling from the leftovers on Wednesday. And more chicken stock. It's nice.
Moving right along. One advantage (the only one I can think of so far) to not being able to make my accustomed jaunts or do needlework is that the novel is really moving. But it *is* an advantage. So that's something.
