For Charley's story to hit the bigtime (not because I want to make pots of money -- anyone who writes because they want pots of money is nuts -- but because I want as many people as possible to read it). For Charley's publisher to want the other two books in the trilogy.

18. Which country is your spiritual home? Not a country. A region. The Pacific Northwest. Actually, within sight of Mt. Rainier.
