Frank has a *girl*!
As filkferengi said, unexpected new characters are the best kind. I have to agree with her -- especially since said unexpected character *was* apparently expected by my backbrain, because there isn't a single bit of retconning involved in her appearance. I checked. She sure shocked the hell out of both my conscious brain and Charley, though.
She's an Irish immigrant and used to be Frank's mother's housemaid. Frank's mother is going to have kittens, and I can't wait to watch. She's really going to facilitate Charley and Emma's wedding, though. Gods, this is fun.
Chapter 22 is *flying.* Please, sir, ma'am, may I do this full time now?
Obviously my boss is back, and I actually only worked 3 1/2 days this week. Wowzer. And the one thing that doesn't seem to irritate my shoulder into immobility is typing. Thank the *Gods.*
