I have Officially Applied to the Museum Certification program at the University of Washington. The classes are every Saturday for three academic quarters starting in the fall.

And in honor of this, I now salute you with 65 useless questions, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] dameruth.

1. First thing you wash in the shower?
My hair.

2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Heather gray.

3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
I don't think so, if it's who I think it was -- that was a long time ago.

4. Do you plan outfits?
Very, very, very seldom.

5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Accomplished.

6. Whats the closest thing to you that's red?
A ceramic glorious butterbug.

7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
I had another episode of trying to escape from the Bad Guys through my personal analog of the Winchester Mystery House the other night.

8. Did you meet anybody new today?
No. I have to admit I haven't left the house today.

A movie. For the first time in ages, I actually feel like going to the movies.

10. Do you floss?
4-5 times a week.

11. What comes to mind when I say cabbage?
Cole slaw. Cabbage is not my favorite vegetable.

12. Are you emotional?
Yes. And it comes out in some of the most inappropriate ways sometimes [sigh].

13. Have you ever counted to 1,000?
No.

14. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it?
Both. Mostly depends on whether it's trying to drip or not.

15. Do you like your hair?
Yeah, except for the thin spot just behind my bangs.

16. Do you like yourself?
Occasionally.

17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush?
Yikes. The very concept of being seen with him in public squicks me out. Someone might think I approve of his politics, which would be just Wrong.

18. What are you listening to right now?
The sound of silence, mostly. Linnet was yelling at me a little while ago, but whatever bee went up his butt seems to have gotten away.

19. Are your parents strict?
They were pretty much tired of dealing with kids by the time I came along. I could have gotten away with much more than I did.

20. Would you go sky diving?
NO.

21. Do you like cottage cheese?
Yes. Preferably on top of canned peaches.

22. Have you ever met a celebrity?
I've met at least one of my favorite writers. Oh, and I'm only two degrees from Kevin Bacon (I know someone who stood behind him in line at the grocery store [g]).

23. Do you rent movies often?
Netflix. Need I say more?

24. Is there anything sparkly in the room you're in?
No, not really.

25. How many countries have you visited?
Three. Canada, the UK, and Ireland. I hope to up that number some more one of these days.

26. Have you made a prank phone call?
No. I have teepeed a house and poured shampoo into their fountain, though.

27. Ever been on a train?
Yes. Among other times, I once spent a month traveling via Amtrak from Ohio to California to Oregon to Washington back to Ohio, stopping to visit family and play tourist along the way. I traveled by train mostly in the UK, too.

28. Brown or white eggs?
Doesn't matter.

29.Do you have a cell-phone?
Not really. I have one I buy prepaid minutes for when I'm about to make a long car trip, but other than that, no.

30. Do you use chap stick?
Yes.

31. Do you own a gun?
No.

32. Can you use chop sticks?
Not unless I want to starve to death.

33. Who are you going to be with tonight?
Cats. Unless you're talking about in the Biblical sense, then nobody.

No. It would probably be better for my blood pressure if I was, though.

I've thought I was. Not sure now if I really was.

36. What is your best friend(s) doing tomorrow?
Got me.

37. Ever have cream puffs?
Yes.

Sunday. No context, sorry.

When the occasion demands it.

No. Into a door, however...

45. Favorite color?
Grass green. The shade of green you get in the smallest box of crayons.

46. Have you ever slapped someone?
No.

47. Is your hair curly?
Heh. I thought it was stick straight till I got it cut really short a few years ago. All of a sudden I discovered waves. But it would still be a real stretch to call it curly.

48. What was the last CD you bought?
Probably something by Great Big Sea, but I'm not sure. It's been a while.

49. Do looks matter?
They do make things easier (remembering back in the day when I had some).

51. Is your phone bill sky high?
No.

52. Do you like your life right now?
There are a few things I'd like to fix, otherwise yeah, things are pretty good these days.

53. Do you sleep with the T.V. on?
No. I've never been able to do that. Can't sleep in the car, either.

54. Can you handle the truth?
Sometimes it's hard. But it's necessary.

55. Do you have good vision?
Only with my glasses. My clear field of vision without them is from about 4" from my face to about 8" from my face. I used to memorize the colors of people's bathing suits before I got in the pool.

56. Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?
Not hate. There are certainly more than three people of my acquaintance who I would be perfectly happy never to see again. Unfortunately, I'm related to some of them.

57. How often do you talk on the phone?
Very, very seldom. I'd much rather email than phone.

58. The last person you held hands with?
I can't remember. Probably Phil, but that was over a decade ago.

59. What are you wearing?
Jeans, long-sleeved t-shirt, hoodie, sneakers.

60.What is your favorite animal?
Feline.

61. Where was your default icon picture taken?
I don't have a default icon. I choose icons according to the post/comment. The one for this message was taken on the Fourth of July a couple of years ago, at Fort Lewis.

62. Can you hula hoop?
I doubt it. I am not a coordinated person.

63. Do you have a job?
Not at the moment. I was a librarian. I am a writer, as yet unpubbed. And I'm about to go back to school part time, at the ripe old age of fifty.

64. What was the most recent thing you bought?
Potting soil. No, cheese.

65. Have you ever crawled through a window?
Once.
