There's this lovely book on Victorian households I've been reading for research purposes...

Oh, yes. Current crushes are Miles Vorkosigan and Ramses Emerson. Actually, considering the length of time this has been going on, crush may not be the appropriate word.
3. The last book you bought was...?
A Brother's Price, by Wen Spencer. A lovely romance, as long as you're willing to stretch the boundaries of the genre a bit.
4. The last book you read was...?
Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, by T.S. Eliot. Mostly because it was a hole in my literary literacy recently pointed out to me. I rather liked the illustrations best.
5. What are you currently reading?
A Continent for the Taking: The Tragedy and Hope of Africa, by Howard French. Not sure I'm going to finish it, though. For one thing, it's overdue back at the library. For another, I'm getting increasingly annoyed at it.
